River House Lodge is located in Neuquén Province on the eastern side of the Andes mountains in the Patagonia region of Argentina, 1,570 km (975 miles)southwest of Buenos Aires.The lodge rests along the Chimehuín River around 20 minutes by car from the Chapelco Airport,22 km (13.6 miles) from the town of Junín de los Andes and 35 km (21.7 miles) from the town of San Martín de los Andes.

Overseas visitors arrive at Ezeiza International Airport in Buenos Aires and transfer across the city to domestic Jorge Newbery Airport and a two-hour flight to Chapelco Airport near San Martín de los Andes. We will pick you up at Chapelco and transfer you and your luggage to thelodge.You can also fly from BuenosAiresto San Carlos de Bariloche, but you will need to arrange your own transfer for a drive that takes approximately three hours.Usually our clients spend at least one day in Buenos Aires where. Through our concierge,we can recommend hotels, restaurants and outings in the Argentine capital before flying down toPatagonia. Many of our clients also take the opportunity to explore elsewhere in our extra ordinary country.
